Perkins announces the appointment of Anne Bodmer Lutz, M.D. as a part-time psychiatrist working with Perkins Behavioral Health and the residential services team.
Dr. Lutz is a board-certified Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, a nationally renowned educator and trainer, and the Director of the Institute for Solution-Focused Therapy. She has worked for many years in community mental health settings and spent nine years as a consulting psychiatrist for a residential treatment center for girls struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. She is a nationally renowned educator and trainer and is the author of Learning Solution-Focused Therapy: an Illustrated Guide.
Dr. Lutz received her M.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern University. Dr. Lutz also holds a degree in adult psychiatry from the Medical School of Wisconsin. She completed her residency at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Lutz is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester and a visiting professor at Framingham State University.
