Patricia Sinclair, Director, joined the Perkins CDC team in the fall of 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Elms College. She obtained her Master’s Degree in education from Elmira College. Her educational background has allowed her to explore many facets of early childhood and to focus on inclusionary practices. While at Elmira College, Patty served as the assistant director of Residence Life and was the assistant softball coach of the college’s varsity team.

 

Pamela Bernard, Infant Lead Teacherhas worked at Perkins CDC since its opening in January 2008. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Anna Maria College and is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, Preschool Lead Teacher, and Director qualified through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). She enjoys getting to know each and every one of the children enrolled at the CDC and provides the highest quality of care.

 

Caisey Swihart, Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since its opening in January 2008. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Youth Education at Becker College and is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher and Preschool Teacher qualified through EEC. Caisey enjoys working with the infants and forming close partnerships with families.

 

 

Nancy Peete, Infant Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since January of 2018. She has an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Mount Wachusett Community College. She is MA EEC Lead Infant, Toddler and Preschool Director II certified. She has been teaching for 20 years and loves the excitement and wonder that children bring to life. When not at Perkins, she enjoys photography, walking, spending time with her granddaughter and reading.

 

 

 

Brittany Aylott, Center Support has been a member of the Perkins CDC team since May of 2017. She is MA EEC Teacher Infant/Toddler and Preschool certified. Brittany loves to listen to children work through their problems and talk to each other. When not at Perkins, Brittany enjoys photography, painting and anything with music.

 

 

 

Crystal Shaw, Toddler/Preschool Program Coordinator, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since its opening in January 2008. She has an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Bay State College and is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Youth Education at Becker College. Crystal is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, and Preschool Lead Teacher, Director qualified through EEC. She has a great love for children and is happy to guide them as they explore the world around them.

 

Michelle Binder, Toddler/Preschool Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since July 2008. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Youth Education at Becker College and is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher qualified through EEC. Michelle’s calm and patient personality is a great asset to her classroom.

 

 

Kimberly Vancelette, Preschool/Pre K Program Coordinator, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since September 2011. She is currently working on her Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood and Youth Education at Becker College and is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, Preschool Lead Teacher and Director qualified through EEC. Kim brings her smile and fun-loving attitude to her classroom every day.

 

 

Pamela Nicholson, Preschool Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since August 2008. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Becker College and is Infant/Toddler Teacher and Preschool Teacher qualified through EEC. Pamela enjoys working in Preschool and is always nurturing and energetic.

 

 

Erin Benoit, Pre-K Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since September 2008. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce College and is Preschool Lead Teacher qualified through EEC. Erin enjoys celebrating the children’s success as they learn and grow throughout the year.

 

 

 

Elizabeth Neuman, Pre-K Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since October 2013. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art, a Master’s degree in Education from Cambridge College, and is Infant/Toddler Teacher and Preschool Lead Teacher qualified through EEC. Elizabeth enjoys getting to know the children and their families. She plans activities that match the children’s interests while supporting their development.

 

Heidi Sanborn, Infant/Toddler and Preschool Floating Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since its opening in January 2008. She has an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Mount Wachusett Community College and is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Becker College. Heidi is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher and Preschool Lead Teacher qualified through EEC. She has a great love of animals and will often bring her exotic birds, Emmett and Esme, to the Center for a visit.

 

Maggie Haley, Toddler/Preschool Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since 2012. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Becker college. She has a great love for children’s personalities and loves to see them laughing and having fun. When not at Perkins, she enjoys shopping, going to the casino and crafting.

 

 

Amy Nowlan, Infant/Toddler Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since 2016. She is studying, currently, at Mount Wachusett Community College. She enjoys watching children grow and learn new things. When not at Perkins, she loves to be outside snowboarding or four-wheeling with her friends.

 

 

 

Nancy Reed, Lead Preschool Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since 2017. She has an Associate’s degree from Mount Wachusett Community College in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys working with children for the Ah! Ha! moments that they often experience. When not at Perkins, Nancy enjoys spending time with her own children and grandchildren, reading, walking and hiking.

 

 

Dakota Dupuis, Center Support, has been a member of the Perkins CDC team since 2017. She is working on her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood at Fitchburg State University. She is excited about helping with the future development of children. When not at Perkins, she likes to play softball, do arts and crafts and shop. She loves all things Disney.

 

 

Cheryl Moran, Center Support, has been with the Perkins CDC team since 2016. She has a Bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Boston University and is a certified LSW. She has always had a passion for working with children and lovesto help them discover and learn new things. When not at Perkins, she enjoys spending time with her daughter exploring the beach.

 

 

 

Tammy Bigeau, an Administrative Assistant, has been with the Perkins CDC team since 2008. Tammy has an Associate’s degree in Science. Tammy chose to work at the CDC because children bring a lot of joy to her life. When not at Perkins, she enjoys going to the beach, sightseeing and traveling.
