Patricia Sinclair, Director, joined the Perkins CDC team in the fall of 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Elms College. She obtained her Master’s Degree in education from Elmira College. Her educational background has allowed her to explore many facets of early childhood and to focus on inclusionary practices. While at Elmira College, Patty served as the assistant director of Residence Life and was the assistant softball coach of the college’s varsity team.

 

Pamela Bernard, Infant Lead Teacherhas worked at Perkins CDC since its opening in January 2008. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Anna Maria College and is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, Preschool Lead Teacher, and Director qualified through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). She enjoys getting to know each and every one of the children enrolled at the CDC and provides the highest quality of care.

 

Child Development Center - Leadership and StaffCaisey Swihart, Infant Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since its opening in January 2008. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Youth Education at Becker College and is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher and Preschool Teacher qualified through EEC. Caisey enjoys working with the infants and forming close partnerships with families.

 

 

Child Development Center - Leadership and StaffAshley Raboin, Toddler 1 Lead Teacher, joined the Perkins CDC teaching team in October of 2010. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Curry College and is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, Preschool Lead Teacher and Director qualified through EEC. Ashley loves being active with the busy toddlers and works closely with families to provide a caring and nurturing environment.

 

 

Child Development Center - Leadership and StaffCrystal Shaw, Toddler/Preschool Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since its opening in January 2008. She has an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Bay State College and is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Youth Education at Becker College. Crystal is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, and Preschool Lead Teacher, Director qualified through EEC. She has a great love of children and is happy to guide them as they explore the world around them.

 

Child Development Center - Leadership and StaffMichelle Binder, Toddler/Preschool Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since July 2008. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Youth Education at Becker College and is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher qualified through EEC. Michelle’s calm and patient personality is a great asset to her classroom.

 

 

Child Development Center - Leadership and StaffKimberly Vancelette, Preschool Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since September 2011. She is currently working on her Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood and Youth Education at Becker College and is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, Preschool Lead Teacher and Director qualified through EEC. Kim brings her smile and fun loving attitude to her classroom every day.

 

 

Child Development Center - Leadership and StaffPamela Nicholson, Preschool Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since August 2008. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Becker College and is Infant/Toddler Teacher and Preschool Teacher qualified through EEC. Pamela enjoys working in Preschool and is always nurturing and energetic.

 

 

Child Development Center - Leadership and StaffErin Benoit, Pre-K Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since September 2008. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce College and is Preschool Lead Teacher qualified through EEC. Erin enjoys celebrating the children’s success as they learn and grow throughout the year.

 

 

 

Child Development Center - Leadership and StaffElizabeth Neuman, Pre-K Lead Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since October 2013. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art, a Master’s degree in Education from Cambridge College, and is Infant/Toddler Teacher and Preschool Lead Teacher qualified through EEC. Elizabeth enjoys getting to know the children and their families. She plans activities that match the children’s interests, while supporting their development.

 

Child Development Center - Leadership and StaffHeidi Sanborn, Infant/Toddler and Preschool Floating Teacher, has been a member of the Perkins CDC teaching team since its opening in January 2008. She has an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Mount Wachusett Community College and is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Becker College. Heidi is Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher and Preschool Lead Teacher qualified through EEC. She has a great love of animals and will often bring her exotic birds, Emmett and Esme, to the Center for a visit.
