Perkins is pleased to announce its upcoming 13th Annual Golf Tournament to be held at the Sterling National Country Club on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Central Massachusetts community bank, Clinton Savings Bank, has signed on again to support Perkins as their Premiere Sponsor. Robert J. Paulhus, Jr., President and CEO of Clinton Savings Bank stated, “We are proud to be making an impact in the community by supporting Perkins. Their valuable services for children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens with special needs, as well as their families, are important, and we applaud their work with our sponsorship.”
We are actively seeking new golfers, as well as sponsors. “A sponsorship or golf registration helps us to provide critical services to children with mental health needs, as well as support educational and vocational programs, and special therapies including scholarships for our Rein in a Dream Therapeutic Riding program, said Michael W. Ames, Chief Executive Officer at Perkins. “This highly anticipated tournament has a loyal following, and we are looking to expand excellent marketing opportunities for businesses and provide a great day for new golfers.”
The tournament will follow a scramble format with first, second, and third place awards, as well as straightest drive and closest to the pin prizes. The event is scheduled to begin with an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start. Consistent with past years’ events, there will be an impressive raffle and auction inventory, including golfing foursomes, Red Sox, Patriots, and other sporting tickets, in addition to a four pack of park-hopper tickets to Walt Disney World.
Perkins is expecting a full field of 144 golfers, making it a great opportunity for business networking and providing excellent exposure for our sponsors. “We have been fortunate to have the continued support of Clinton Savings Bank, Fred C. Church Insurance, AKUITY Technologies and a number of other partners. There are a variety of categories available for corporate and individual sponsorship opportunities,” Golf Committee Chair Kerry Flathers said.
