Perkins Hires Director of Organizational Advancement

Perkins announces the addition of Naomi Reville LeBlanc as the organization’s new Director of Organizational Advancement. In this capacity, Ms. LeBlanc will steer the organization’s fundraising, communications, and marketing strategies. She joins Perkins with over 10 years of experience working in development and communications within the anti-hunger arena. “Naomi brings an abundance of knowledge and skill to this important position,” said Perkins President and CEO Dr. Michael W. Ames. “Her work experience, coupled with her education, have equipped her with the tools to develop and streamline systems and take our organizational advancement strategy to the next level.”

Ms. LeBlanc worked for the last five years as Director of Development at the Worcester County Food Bank. While there, she applied best practices to increase philanthropic revenue by over 40%. Prior to her time at Worcester County Food Bank, she was employed by Boston-based Project Bread-The Walk for Hunger in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility, culminating as Chief of Staff.

Ms. LeBlanc earned a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and an MBA in Public and Nonprofit Management from Boston University School of Management. She describes herself as a strategic thinker. “Creating systems and efficiencies within existing fundraising and communications programs and building relationships with organizational supporters is extremely gratifying to me, and I look forward to bringing that to Perkins,” commented LeBlanc, who joined Perkins on June 20. “I’m deeply committed to raising funds for organizations that provide help and hope to the people they serve, and am thrilled to join with Perkins to advance its mission,” she said.

Ms. LeBlanc grew up in Worcester, MA and now resides in Paxton, MA with her husband and two young children.
